Altrusa Austin Turns 100!

On April 27, 1923 Altrusa of Austin was granted charter at the National Convention in Columbus, Ohio. Through the years the Austin Club has continued to provide scholarships for women furthering their educations and consistently supported service projects involving Adopt-a-School, foster agencies, and various literacy programs. On April 5th, 2023 the Austin Club was recognized at the State Capitol proclamation reading to commemorate Altrusa of Austin’s 100 Years of Service.
